📌Focus: Basic stride, stopping, turning, edge control, improving hands and puck control in motion
✅Drills:
Edge Work & Balance – Glide on one foot, inside/outside edges, C-cuts
Forward & Backward Stride – Proper weight transfer and knee bend
Stopping Techniques – Snowplow stop → Hockey stop progression
Tight Turns & Crossovers – Figure 8 drills around cones
Stationary Stickhandling – Figure 8s, around cones, wide/narrow dribbles
Puck Protection – Body positioning and using reach to shield the puck
Moving Stickhandling – Control while skating, handling with quick hands
Escape Moves – Pull-backs, toe drags, and quick turns under pressure
