Here’s what’s been happening this past week:

Schedules 🏒
We’re just over a month away from the start of the season! Over the next week, we’ll be finalizing schedules, so keep an eye on your inbox for updates. If you have any last-minute requests or changes, now’s the time to reach out. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to hit the ice soon!

Outdoor Skate Success 🏒
Huge thanks to everyone who came out for our outdoor pickup game last Friday! The weather was perfect, the competition was great, and it was an awesome way to enjoy some hockey under the lights. We love seeing the community come together on the ice—stay tuned for more events like this in the future!

Girls High School State Hockey Tournament 🏒
A huge congratulations to the champions of the Girls High School Hockey State Tournament, Hill-Murray (Class 2A) and Dodge County (Class A)! We also want to recognize all the teams and players who competed—their passion for the game makes the hockey community stronger. Well done to everyone who hit the ice this past weekend!

Registrations 🏒
Our Elite and Competitive Divisions are SO close to reaching four teams each! If there’s enough interest, we’ll open more spots—so if you know someone thinking about joining, now’s the time to get them to sign up!

Know someone who is not sure yet? No worries! We’re keeping registration open into the season for anyone on the fence or looking to jump in later. 🏒💪

Referees & Scorekeepers 🏒
We’re finalizing the system we will utilize for scheduling and coordinating referees and scorekeepers—we’ll be using Arbiter for both. Stay tuned for more details on how to access and manage your assignments. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we get everything set up for a smooth season!

We’re helping assist tournament organizers in filling their events! While we aim to form teams for many of these tournaments, some also allow for individual sign-ups, as indicated below.

If you’re keen on participating in any of the tournaments listed, Puck Yea! will help with all the logistics and coordination! Feel free to reach out via email, text, or direct message so we can provide more details! **Cost varies by tournament.

📅When: March 7-9, 2025
Skill level: Any - novice to advanced
Individual Registration

Tournament Name: Pirates Parley

🌍Where: Verona, WI

📅When: March 21-23, 2025

Skill level: Looking for 3-4 WHAM level C1/C2 players

Individual registration but will play together with the Ely Chix

Tournament Name: Puck Cancer

🌍Where: Geneva, IL

📅When: August 1-3, 2025

Skill level: They offer the below divisions; we would like to bring as many teams as possible!

A Division: Former high school, current collegiate NCAA Division I – III Players

​B Division: Former high school, and collegiate club players

C1 Division:  Some high school experience

C2 Division:  Minimal formal training with several years of experience

D Division: Little experience and/or training

Team registration

Puck Cancer donates all proceeds to families or individuals battling cancer.
