| WEEKLY LEAGUE UPDATE |

Here’s what’s been happening this past week:

Streamlining with SportsEngine🏒
We will be utilizing SportsEngine to manage key aspects of our league, making things easier and more organized for everyone!

With SportsEngine, we will:
✅Post Schedules – Easily access your game times and locations.
✅Track Attendance – Let your team know if you’ll be at the game.
✅Record Stats – Stay up to date on game results and player stats.

This will be our go-to platform for games information keeping everything in one place, ensuring a smoother experience for players. If you haven’t already, be sure to download the SportsEngine app so you don’t miss any updates!

Schedules 🏒
The schedules are set and have been posted on the Puck Yea! Hockey website (Spring/Summer 2025 Schedules — Puck Yea! Women's Hockey Collective). They are also posted online with SportEngine. Rosters are still being finalized, we expect to have them ready soon! As we finalize rosters, you will be able to view your schedule in SportsEngine. The Foundations division’s schedule is still under construction, if you are registered in the Foundations division, we will have an update for your over the next week.

Jerseys 🏒
The production of our jerseys is taking a bit longer than expected due to the detail we added to them but stay tuned to our social media for the big reveal sometime over the next week or so! They will be here in time for puck drop on April 1st and we’re so excited about these jerseys! We can’t wait to show them off. As a reminder, the league will retain the jerseys at the end of each season, but if you’re really passionate about them and want to get your own custom jersey, feel free to contact Shelly at 3rd Line Hockey, shelly@3rdlinehockey.com

| REFEREE SPOTLIGHT |

Our league wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our referees, and we want to recognize and appreciate them for their time! Officiating takes commitment, knowledge, and a love for the game, and we know our refs put in the time and effort to make every game possible.

We’re excited to start highlighting the referees who dedicate their time to officiating our games in both our newsletter and on social media. Our Referee Spotlight is a way to highlight the incredible individuals who step onto the ice to ensure fair, competitive, and safe games for all of us. This is our ways to express our gratitude and recognize all they do.

| REFEREE SPOTLIGHT- WELCOME, JESS BAUER |

MEET JESS BAUER

My name is Jessica Bauer. I’ve been officiating hockey for 13 seasons. I started refffing in Telluride, CO where I lived and skied for 4 years, and now I ref WHAM, OS, and WAPHL. I helped start the Saint Mary’s University of Winona’s women’s college hockey team in 1995-1996 and played there from 95-99 where it became a varsity sport my senior year in 1998-1999. I did everything from schedule games, drive the Zamboni, sharpen skates, and coordinate volunteer coaches to design team jerseys and schedule transportation for the team. I really enjoy reffing because I had to retire from playing hockey about three years ago due to injuries but this allows me to still be a part of the game that I love so much. I really like watching the improvements and advancements that girls and women’s hockey have made over the years and continue to make. I only referee girls and women’s hockey because it’s been my passion since I was 18. I’m looking forward to getting into this women’s league and helping where I can!
